Orthopaedic surgery encompasses any surgery that is related to bones or joints. It includes procedures such as fracture repairs, ligament repairs and spinal surgery to name a few.

Our veterinarians’experience over many years has given us a level of expertise in diagnosis and management of orthopaedic disease and injuries of many kinds.We are not orthopaedic specialists, however many of our clients choose to accept our advice and intervention to address and resolve their pet's problems.

Our practice is well equipped to perform many surgical procedures that your pet may require.

These may include:

• Cranial cruciate ligament ruptures may be treated either medically or surgically and we invite clients to discuss the possiblities

• Fracture (broken bone) repair

• Amputations for severe injuries 

• While we are general practitioners we can manage most orthopaedic issues in house after a discussion of the individual case with the owner, however some complicated orthopaedic cases, such as spinal surgery, will need to be referred to a specialist orthopaedic surgeon. Our veterinarians will assess each case individually and provide the best advice for you and your pet.
